2013- Day 30 Dr Molotov design ideas

Good news is that Grape Grenade will be available for the weekend! Preorders will go out as early as Friday!  We are excited to get these out to you and hope that you enjoy both the shirt and the new packaging!  These shirts will be available at The Altered Bee starting Friday and they are always available online at our store.

The next flavor to come in our 6 pack flavor set is Dr Molotov!  We have been researching designs and pictures and are looking at shirt color options.  We loved the imagery that comes with the Molotov cocktail, it obviously works great with the Soda Bomb feel.  

But the molotov was the easy part...  We now needed the Dr...  Who better to pay tribute to then our American soldiers who risk their lives daily to save the lives of others....  

Where we live there is a National Guard base not far from our home.  We have driven by it many times, and our sons have lovingly named the black hawk helicopter on display out front the "Army Doctor Helicopter".  It looks very similar to the one below...

Thus we have found the Dr part and so the Dr Molotov will have the militaristic feel of the Army Doctor Helicopter but also the dangerous and volatile feel of the molotov cocktail!  We will still have our vintage feel in there and of course the color we are looking at is called Army Green!

Something else we want to add is when we did the contest, for the 6th flavor in the 6 pack flavor set which got us Dr Molotov, the winner was Beau Chastain who is an American solider who was WIA (Wounded in Action) and is currently deployed, serving our country with the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) of the Air Force.  We could not think of a better way to honor than to give the first Dr Molotov to him!  Thank you Beau for serving our country and being willing to give your life for us!

And don't forget we are doing new this year is that a portion of every shirt sold will be given to The Wounded Warrior Project!  It's SBA's way of making sure that these brave men and women don't get forgotten for the sacrifices they made for our freedom.

2013- Day 24

Ok so we have made some changes to our website that we are really excited about...  Tell us what you think??

We also have been talking with a sticker company out in California about pricing for some new stickers! While we will only start with one for now, we plan on getting more as we go.  Let us know what sticker you think should be next by checking it out in our store... The first one to reach the most views over the next few weeks will be the next one ordered!

And last but not least PRESALE ENDS FRIDAY 1/25 at MIDNIGHT!  This will be your only opportunity to get Ladies, Youth and Custom sizes... After Midnight we will put in our order and only Unisex sizes Small through XLarge will be available.

They would make a great Valentine's gift for your lady or daughter!  And really... Real men can wear purple!!

2013 Day 21- Presale ends Friday 1/25!

We have had a good time with this new designs and have gotten a lot of interest in it!  Ladies, Youth and Custom sizes are still available through the end of Presale!  They will not be offered after Friday of this week, so make sure you get yours now!!

These would be a great shirt to give to your sweetheart for Valentine's Day!  Just remember that the Ladies sizing is Juniors so they run a lot more fitting than a regular Ladies cut.  We will not be able to offer returns/exchanges as we will only be purchasing what is ordered through Presale.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have also been working on getting more stickers done to offer up within the next month or so... Here are some peeks... Let us know what you think!

2013- Day 17 Pre-Sale Begins!

Well it is finally here...  PRESALE for the GRAPE GRENADE is on!  This will be the only time you will be able to get a Ladies cut, Kids style or Custom Sizing.  Make sure you take advantage of this opportunity!  Once Presale is over, we will only be carrying the unisex design in sizes S-XL.

A few things to note about this shirt...  First of all we are using a Gildan Soft Style 64000 and 64000L shirt so they are going to fit differently.  The Ladies will be a Junior Cut that fits more tapered through the torso.  So if you like to wear your shirts a little loose then I suggest going up a size.  The Mens is a Euro Style which also fits tapered through the lower torso.  And of course, as the name states, they are a soft shirt compared to our normal Gildan.

Second thing to keep in mind is that it is NOT the lavender color that is shown on the mock up. Below is a picture of the color instead... It is a nice rich purple....

So head on over to our Store and pick up yours now.  Presale will not last for long so make sure that if you want this shirt in Ladies, Youth or Custom size you must get it now!!!

2013- Day 11

Alright today is the big day...  Here is the release of the much waited for Grape Grenade t-shirt....

The shirt color will be a heathered purple to make it look more antique. However we will not be able to offer for pre-sale today as we are waiting on a shirt selection to determine the final style.  But we hope to be offering ladies cuts and larger sizes.  Then the kid's shirts will be a more traditional solid purple color.

Now on to the next order of business....  The winner of the first contest of 2013 for a free Grape Grenade t-shirt package is....   ANGIE DAVIS!!!  Congratulations Angie! Send us a message with your size, style and address and we will get the shirt out to you when they are printed!

Another day for me up at The Altered Bee in Bristol today.  I will be there from 10-3pm at 22 Central Sq.  Stop by and say Hi and pick up a shirt or two.  We will also be offering the Grape Grenade shirts at this store when they are released for regular sale.

2013- Day 9 Movember Charities

While we finally did it! We have sold out of the Sugar Stache t-shirts and can make our donation to the Movember charities. We will be writing a check for $2 per Sugar Stache shirt sold!  Thanks for all the helo in making this a success! Look forward to Movember 2013 too see what great design we come up with next!

2013- Day 2 Contest Winner

Here we are in the New Year and we plan on making it a winner!  Speaking of winners... We finally decided out of all the entries we received that we fell in love with no one flavor but a mixture of two that people suggested.

We liked both Dr. and Molotav, so we smashed the two together and came up with Dr. Molotav! We have a great idea for the design and will release some previews once we get Grape Grenade done.  So since we had a bunch of people that gave us either of the two names, we decided to throw all the people who said either name into a hat aaannnnnnddddddd........   Beau Chastain is the winner!!  Congratulations Beau!  You will be receiving the first Dr Molotav shirt!

On other news, Grape Grenade is in it's final design phase and will be hoping to release to Pre-sale by the end of next week.  Remember this year we plan on offering Ladies, Children's styles along with custom sizes during the Pre-sale time frame.

Also we are hoping to get our E-Gift Certificates up and running by week's end so that you can order them in any quantity and give as presents.  We will also be working on re-vamping the website to showcase our products more.
